i would glady buy a 3rd shenmue game or a hd remaster collection as well.

I have to agree with him. Shenmue was more about living in the sandbox and Yakuza is more about the action storyline. The side quests and sabdbox in yakuza are atrocious and plain boring. 

While i enjoy Yakuza's storyline, Shenmue is a better game.

1 & 2 HD Collection please. Still never played them. Willing to emulate but would rather buy if given the chance.

What I'm interested in is whether one of the three console manufacturers is involved.

Sony = that pic of Suzuki & Cerny + the game was the most requested on #buildingthelist
MS = seem to be very keen on getting gamer buzz going lately (i.e. really early announcements of stuff like Phantom Dust)
Nintendo = deal with third party partners, plus they seem to work a lot better with Japanese third parties

I'm interested to see what happens, regardless.

for the game it would be best to come to Playstation 4. I doubt nintendo and xbox fans will buy this game as much as playstation fans. Shenmue 2 wasnt sucessfull at all on Xbox while Yakuza is now on only Playstation systems and was sucessfull enought to make 5 games, some even not released internationally. 

Hmmm, I'm hearing from people with contacts that it could actually be Shenmue 3...

Nintendo of Canada promised me third party games. .. Just saying.

I still have my Dreamcast, and copy of Shenmue. I never played the second one, but I am surprised how many people want this game. I'm pretty sure majority of people have never played this, and are just listening to other people's recollections on gaming sites speak about this game. I enjoyed it when I played it the first time, but games today are really much better. It was groundbreaking for it's time like most of SEGA's products, and games back then, but now will just be lost in the mix.

It's initial sales will be good, especially in Japan. but after the hardcore buy it in all regions, sales will fall off a cliff.

I'd rather have a sequel to Valkyira Chronicles, yes I know there was a version that released on the PSP, but an new sequel.
