Well deserved! The movie was fantastic. Colin was able to make a movie that could cater to both JP fans and the general public, specially to JP fans. I won't be surprised if it reaches more than 1 billion worldwide and beat furious 7 or even Avengers.

Just got back from watching this with my kids. It was a modern version of the first movie. They did lots of little nods to the first movie and that made it all the more appealing. Was it better than JP1? No, it didn't have the thrill of being the first, but it was pretty close in quality.

Watching it today, so stoked. Even my mates that hate hollywood blockbusters said its a good popcorn flick.

I'm surprised Harry Potter is #1.
I thought about watching this but decided to watch Spy instead which turned out to be a pretty good movie.

Wow, I was not expecting that.

 Personally, I thought it was amazing. I'm a huge Jurassic Park fan, and have always loved the mythos behind it. This one took the idea of the original and put it on steroids. I'm not gonna spoil anything, but if you're remotely familiar with the original this is a must see for the ending alone. The last 20 minutes or so, are probably the most goosebump inducing moments for a fan of the franchise.

 For me, personally, had they shown more of Indomnious, and less of them trying to track her, the movie would've been better than the first. Otherwise, definitely the best sequel by far, and a great movie overall. I will probably buy this when it comes out on Blu-Ray, just to keep re-watching those last 20 minutes. "We need more teeth!" :D
