Pretty much.
Nintendo will find some other way to justify that its two most advertised games were among the best FW launches on the console. I'm not saying that they would have turned bombs into 2m+ sellers with a little more advertising, but I am saying that each and every one of their games would sell better with bigger ad campaigns. That's why so many other companies can turn out complete garbage and pull down big sales.
If Ninty isn't confident enough in a game to put some ad money behind it - they should just make another game. Every game (no matter how good) bombs when nobody knows about it.
