Splatoon is still in the top 10 on amazon after almost two weeks, so it can't be all bad. not sure, I think it will probably double the base sales for the first two weeks in June, not sure after that.

I think it's a no.

1) NX will not be discussed till 2016, and even then, it is not a replacement for the 3DS, let alone the Wii U (if anything, the NX would be a 3DS successor as the Wii U still has till 2017 to complete the 5 year minnimum life cycle)

2) They would not do that to the Wii U. They know it needs it.

Seriously. It's not going to do that.

Twilight Princess does set a precedent, but I won't derail the thread further.

Even if it is exclusive though, I don't believe even Zelda could move as many Wii Us as Mario Kart 8 did. By the end of Wii U's lifespan I expect MK8 will still be the highest selling game and strongest system seller for the console.

You do realize that when Twilight Princess was released, the Gamecube already had an exclsuive Zelda? Windwaker. That is why they did it.

So again, they will not do cross gen with it.

We'll see. Either way, I don't think it will boost Wii U hardware as much as MK8. May be hard to measure its system selling power if it releases during the holiday rush though, as the usual increase at that time of the year will obscure Zelda's impact.

I highly doubt it, Splatoon has the disadvantage that it's a new IP so it won't move as many consoles as Mario Kart

If it was coming for Wii U only IMO it would be at this E3. There's no way that after 4 years in development they can't even scrape together a new 30 second trailer at minimum. IMO something is up.

Beyond that I don't think Nintendo really cares what a handful of Zelda fans on the internet will say if it means the game ends up selling 2-3x the amount, which is exactly what happened to Twilight Princess, which wouldn't have had a chance in hell of sniffing those sales numbers without the dual release. Sure they'll complain on a message board ... and then they'll suck it up and end up buying the game anyway.

As long as it comes out on Wii U, Nintendo's broken no promises, so they can put it on NX as well.

What is this word "sistem " you use?

No, no matter how Splatoon is popular its still a new IP, on other hand Mario Kart is most popular Nintendo IP for home console. Also, with Mario Kart you got one free game, that moved some consoles too.

doubt it
no bundle this time

Offcourse we will see Zelda U on other platforms.. but later.. mayby both handheld and in some form on next home console (I hope for some kind of VR)

Ontopic: This is not imposible.. I can see Splatoon as a bigger system seller than MK8.. Not more popular.. but more fresh and new

AND.. I can talk for my self.. I love MK wii.. and from the game came to online was turned of.. I played that game all time.. BUT I don't yet have a WiiU.. Sure I tryed MK8 and it was great.. but not enourg for me to find the money.. Splatoon is

Can't in any way see WiiU not starting getting better momentum.. and then Mariomaker hit
