Now that's a toughie.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Most coin-ops were unbeatable for me, but one of the hardest was also one of the best, Ghosts 'n Goblins. For consoles, Zaxxon, Defender and Scooby Doo's Maze Chase. For computer, Knight Hero (Ghosts 'n Goblins clone for ZX Spectrum), Nethack and Lemmings.

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")
A fart without stink is like a sky without stars.

Battle Toads was the only game I couldn't finish on the NES. It was understandable since I was playing it when I was 8 years old. I went back to it when I was 25 and I got so close to the end, I still failed, I got right up to the Dark Queen with so many efforts, I practically memorised the game inside and out and still couldn't do it. Such an awesome game but that NES version was the killer game for me. Hoping MS resurrect this franchise, seeing the Toads in Shovel Knight was nostalgic at its best for me.

This game ruined my chilhood

Battletoads (NES)

I swear to god that level is impossible. I never did it. Not even once.

Moon Crystal.

 Last battle, more precisely.

Shinobi (PS2) is the only game I never finished; I gave up at the last boss door (got pushed off a ledge into a hole and peaked out forever).

Bloodborne
