Whoa, I think I was pretty low on my prediction. Can't remember what I said, but I think it was 300k or less. Looks like way above that now. Congrats for big N and Splatoon! NPD numbers should be interesting.



It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

The game will pass the 1 million bar in the long run for sure now. It is well deserved. Nintendo innovated so much with this game. It plays completely different from all the other games.

I'm hoping this continues to do well just because it will give Nintendo more incentive to give these ''garage teams'' more room for creating new ip's and expanding themselves

I don't buy those digital numbers at all. Completely overblown. You're just making up numbers and coming up with fairly weak leaps of logic to justify it.

Cant't tell if bad or borderline okay at this point(compared to other titles) but I'll decide when we know more.

Yeap, im making them up, your free to leave the thread. Especially when its been proven before that the ranking system (top 20) on eShop is highest sales to lowest.

All we need to know is US sales (thank god for NPD).

Once we get that we'll have an idea where sales, at least retail will be at.

So with USA retail thrown in it's looking like nudging 600K FW with Digital included. ~500K FW retail only?

UK+FR=~46% of WIi U Europe install base --> ~100K for Europe over all.

Rest of World = 40-50K sales.

So Japan FW +EU probable FW + RoW probable FW = ~300K retail sales. US~ 42.5% of the global install base => 230K FW for USA, but USA might like Splatoon more than Europe, so USE could get up to 300K FW.
