After all the patches, is it really all that bad? the franchise is mediocre these days but I really wanted to play this game. Sadly, I tried the pc version from day one and I was like WTF!? should I reject the game forever or should i give it another chance?

I played it on my PS4 and it is an okay game in its current state. If you really like the franchise I'd give it a second shot.

Honestly I enjoyed the game. It's not without its rough spots but the patch definitely removed a lot of the technical issue. The story is okay and there are a couple of cool mission and the little data collection sidequests that involved you going to another time period where pretty dope and helped add some variety to the scenery. Even though most where at night. Theres a boss fight with another assassin that was pretty well done in my opinion and I wished they put that much effort into other bosses. Or you know had more bosses in assassins creed in general.

I played it like 3 months after it came out, and found it to be one of the better AC games. Maybe the best since 2.

Still I'm growing rather tired of the series as a whole. There's just no real innovation, and sense of continuity in the franchise anymore. Will probably take a long break from this series now, but I'm glad to have Unity be the last one I played.

I played it in February and thought it was fun. The story wasn't that good and didn't really make sense, and the missions were repetitive like all AC games, but Paris looked really nice and I did enjoy playing it.

It was a good game imo. It was better than Assassin's Creed 3 and Assasin's Creed 4. I only didn't liked the bugs and the microtransactions.

I actually liked Rogue better. The co-op play isn't as fun as it sounds. The story is disappointing, and the gameplay was worse. The voice acting also sucked.

What about Bayonetta?

Okay seriously, I think Unity and 3 turned me off from the series (somewhat).

Having played it seven months after the patch, I enjoy it. I like it far better than Brotherhood or Revelations, and since I have not played 3, I really can't say anything about that. The game actually reminds me a lot of II in many ways.
