I've asked for necro because I haven't tagged the original prediction threads but no one has listened. So, I'm creating a new thread about this. Back a few months ago, many Nintendo fans boldly proclaimed the Wii U would surpass 10 million by E3. Now we're at the eve of E3 and it's obvious the Wii U fizzled out yet again.

Are you not amazed that the Wii U can't even surpass the most conservative estimates of sales? At this rate will it even reach 14 million?

That's a pretty bold statement.

well according to this site, it's already passed dreamcast sales. If your going to claim this site is wrong, then you need to factor in that this sites WiiU sales might be under-tracked. I'm not saying they are, but just pointing out all of this info we have needs to be considered to be fair.

Well when's E3 and what are its sales LTD right now?

We're really far, far beyond the point where these milestones matter.

Wii U is overtracked on this site (just take a look at Nintendo shipments).

We'll have to see what happened with Splatoon sales. That could have changed things in a favorable way. But I still doubt it passed 10m by E3.
