Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo giving members of their Youtube Nintendo creators program E3 passes!

Poor Angry Joe!.. He missed the chance to go at E3.

Around the Network

That's pretty sweet. I just wish they would revise the program itself.

I've thought for awhile now that they were kinda doing the whole YouTube ordeal to separate the people just trying to make money and the people who are actually doing it because it's something they enjoy.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

thats awesome, i wanna go to e3 lol

You know that it's possible to do it for both reasons, right? :P

I'm now filled with determination.

Why would they?  Developers are part of the industry and thus are pretty much guaranteed access to E3.   This is being offerd to those that normally would not qualify for E3 access.

I suppose you're right

They can get passes pretty easy from what I've heard by apply for one through E3. This is a event for people like them. This is probably to smaller youtubers who don't have much of a chance with under like 200K subs.

Interesting though I suppose one should have a couple of/or at least one game out before one is considered a developer I suppose

I'm happy for the youtubers

Bitches!

I actually forgot about this creator programs

Do youtubers who join get to upload their videos on their own channel or does Nintendo have a different youtube channel that organizes them?

And this is a pretty nice reward for people joining their program! It sucks that Nintendo takes a part of their money but they could always join Polaris if they get really popular.

Don't tell a developer that.  In fact, imagine trying to tell anyone they aren't something until after they've released a product or too.  Author, writer, developer, musician, etc...

well that's not really what I meant

what I meant is you have to prove it otherwise anyone can claim they are a developer and go
