For who don't know, last year this week Wii U got some bundle this week ( i didn't remember what ecxatly ), so make sense 2014 > 2015.
Even next week will probabily be down YOY, because was the Hyrule Warriors week.
By September, if Nintendo didn't annunce some Bundle for the holidays ( like Splatoon bundle ) Wii U will easy back to be up YOY.

Wii U still up YoY :D

Updated, Wii U barely holding on to being up YoY

Just like I said it could

Check your numbers however, as you gave this week 156k to the Wii U - not that I would dislike that, but I think you got some number wrong

Thanks for keeping the table updated! Is there any way you could add information for the remaining weeks to the table so we can see what we're up against in future weeks?

At this rate 2015 might get dangerously close to 2013 when Super Mario Maker releases. 2014 is now beaten for sure, there wasn't enough to push the console anymore last year to keep up with the other 2 years

Yeah, 2015 > 2014 is a given now. All that the Wii U had left in 2014 from now on was Bayonetta 2, Fatal Frame V, Super Smash Bros. U, Taiko Drum Master and Captain Toad. Bayo 2 and FFV both provided very small boosts (like, 1k each, and the Wii U was still under 10k in those weeks), Taiko did nothing and Captain Toad/Smash provided fairly okay boosts.

In contrast, the Wii U still has Splatoon momentum (which has kept it above 10k), Super Mario Maker + bundle, Star Fox Zero, Taiko Drum Master, Genei Ibun Roku #FE, Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash and maybe Yokai Dance if Level-5 is feeling generous. All of which, aside from Taiko and Mario Tennis, I can see providing substantial boosts. And this is without considering the possibility for a temporary price drop or value bundle like they did in 2013.

The battle against 2013 should be fairly easy until late November/early December, where the console really started to hit its stride due to Super Mario 3D World and the Wii Party U bundle.

Edit: I'm also wondering if Project Treasure might get a retail release in Japan, as Dragon's Dogma Online did. That would be a nice surprise.

Wow, having passed up the year that gave Japan Smash and MK is a surprising feat for the Wii U (thanks more than likely to Splatoon). The only other title this year that I expect to push units in Japan is SMM . Though if that Yo-Kai Watch dancing game comes out this year then that could be another contender (though I have my doubts).
