It is kinda funny how this is even a discussion though, I remember when the TR deal was announced that it was treated like a huge get for MS and later on when SFV was revealed I saw it being downplayed as totally irrelevant, while TR would be huge on Xbox. A lot of that TR will be huge talk kinda disappeared with the actual reveal of the versions on the other platforms though... It might be that I saw all of that on reddit and not here, I'm not sure.

Semantics. Downplaying, "upplaying", just making sure your favorite company looks the best in any case. MS bought it because of UC4, of course, to counter it in some way, at least. Also it is subjective to read that only one side is doing it while ignoring the other. I guess everyone is guilty of that, in some way, though.

Just compare sales from a collection like Halo with sales from TR2013, you people have trouble with logic it seems.

A collection sells like 2M maximum for the biggest one

TR2013 sold more than 4M on old gen consoles, and 6M with next gen consoles.

Don't get personal, nobody here has trouble with logic (well, mostly). Sony will put a huge marketing campaign up for UCC, they made sure the best porting group made the port for reasons. They want to establish Drake as iconic for Playstation which is a good thing.

TR2013 sold especially more on Playstation consoles but that isn't logic, right?

Like Microsoft put a huge marketing on Halo MCC, still, it  didnt even sell 3M being much bigger than Uncharted, so Uncharted C will barely sell 2M.

And now all those people who bought TR2013 and became fan and who want the sequel and cant wait could buy it on One , so the game could easily sell 3-4M

It's only logical, unless the bad buzz killed the sales, there is no reason to think Uncharted has a chance to sell more and that TR2 has a chance to not sell that much

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Sure everyone is guilty, all I'm saying is that this Tomb Raider thing is a fun thing to follow from the sidelines, a lot of flipflopping on both sides between not caring for the game and caring after all etc.

Btw. now that I think about it, I do think most of what I remember has been concentrated to reddit, those guys went totally nuts over TR before all the details of the deal were announced, can't remember how often I read "Spencer said he wouldn't fund a game that would come to another platform" over there.

Yes, there was no negative backlash for MCC in all media, right?  3-4 million on the bone? No. And something isn't logical just because it makes sense to you.

Uncharted.

I think NDC sales will suffer due to its bundle being the least appealing of all the PS4s this holiday (what is the point? you'd only buy it if you have 0 interest in Destiny or COD or SW BF or MGS (EU) which is unlikely given the demographic). It should still sell more WW though

Tomb Raider, because Uncharted was delayed.

The comparison is between the Uncharted Collection and Tomb Raider. If UC4 launched this holiday it wouldn't even be  close.

Oh... Well I still think Tomb Raider, because I don't think a colection of remasters should sell as good as a new game.

If you are including bundles, then i think Uncharted will sell more. Its a given as PS4 sells double or more what the X1 sells each week. Even if standalone sales start stronger for TR, uncharted will catch up, i think.

A year old port of a PS3 game sold 3 million not counting the digital sales (which have been bundled for nearly a year since). A trilogy port on what is now a bigger install base, which will be bundled for at least six months and likely a full year one one of the top three fastest selling consoles of all time, will very likely outsell almost every exclusive release Microsoft has except for probably Halo 5. Once TR hits PS4 that could very possibly shift over to TR winning, but again, TLoUR sold more physically than TR did on 360 and XBO combined. It's not a stretch to think that with nearly twice the install base and bundling until the end of time that Drake's gonna win this one at LEAST until the PS4 port.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

Due to Tomb Raider's lack of MP and the fact it's coming out the same day as Fallout 4, a week after CoD, and a week before Star Wars, I'm gonna say Uncharted. It's bundled and comes out a month before, when there's no other games releasing.
