I can't get over how fun this game is! It's like Nintendo figured out how to take out all the unfun parts of online shooters plus make something original at the same time! There are lots of other great games on Wii U but nothing else so far where I could honestly say you HAD to buy the system so you could play them. This game though is something else!

There are tons of reason to get a wii U.

But I admit Spatoon is the one that attracts me the most. Glad to hear about more people having a blast with the game.

So in other words, if you have no interest in Splatoon then there is no reason buy a WiiU.

It is a reason to buy a Wii U, but there are also reasons why I won't buy a Wii U.

Splatoon has like 900 viewers on twitch tv.
Its as valid a judgeing stick as any other... doesnt seem like that many.
Intrest in the game (veiwer wise) isnt as high any more as it was around launch. There was like 60k+ viewers for a few days there.

You guys think it will have long legs? or fade fast?

Sorry. Too kiddy. I mean... yeah... that's it... kiddy as hell. What if its a nice game? Don't really care. The childish visuals put me off big time. Kinda tired of Nintendo kidness.

Do any of them have to do with your handle being "Dr.Vita"? 

Seems like a game that will fade fast to me.  The lack of critical features for an online game like voice chat certainly killed my interest so maybe I am not the best to judge.  I expects its legs to be smaller than a typical Nintendo game though...

So if it were realistic it would be better? Do you play America's Army? That's one of the most realistic shooters, although it's falling behind in graphics again. There is nothing real about COD in any way. 

Ditto on this. There are other great games to get on the Wii U as well as other neat features to warrant a purchase. Although Splatoon is among one of them ; )
