True, This gen im so happy to be a PC gamer, i mean i was let down with all nextgen consoles but PC is becoming something epic this gen and is exploding in a big way. I for one welcome that PC gaming is becoming more mainstream, and in a way consoles have helped bridge the gap for once console only gamers to cross over into PC gaming by becoming more like PC's with game Patchs, Digital Online stores, DLC etc, and Valve has helped be that stepping stone for the ones that do cross over by offering a more console like experence and user face with Big Picture mode etc . all hail the mighty Gabe .

How is PC becoming more epic if you share the same games? And in fact have no AAA exvlusives.

So youre happy that more games require patches and dlc because you think it benefits your system and valve?

Cos we dont share all the same games? PC has much more games exlusive then both the PS4 and the X1 combined, only thing is the last 2 gens a lot of japan only devs where ignoring PC something they are not doing this gen. And yes FF has been Exclusive to Consoles since FF8, MGS has been exclusive since MGS 2, then if you include all them other japan only devs that where developing exclusivly for Consoles now also bringing their games to pc imo that makes it a great time to be a pc gamer. And also i've had lots of fun this year with Wasteland 2, Pillars of Eternity, The Forest, Reign of Kings etc like others have said just cos a game is not AAA doesnt mean its not a good game. Also where is all the AAA exclusives on consoles? since PC is getting every multiplat games even the ones thats exclusive to the consoles such as SF5 and No mans sky etc,

And also like another user said to you where did i say i was happy about more games needing patches and DLC?, PC users have always been used to patching our games in fact it was one of the things console gamers used to use for not buying games on pc "They wont work need patching and installing etc etc" except now when you buy a console game it needs installing and patching etc etc. In other words what i said is true Consoles are becoming more like PC's and in fact have never before been this close to being just a PC with a custom OS. And PC's thanks to Valve have been bringing PC gaming into a more console like expereance for the ones that want to switch. If you dont like the truth the is nothing i can do about it. But the is no point in trying to downplay how huge and mainstream PC gaming is getting..

-Its only getting bigger because people spread propaganda and missinformation like eurogamer

-Metal gear solid 2 is on pc and FF11 was as well

- my PS4 doesnt work like a PC, it installs all my games while i am playing them like with a super nintendo, and i can buy used games. PC cant.

- consoles arent becoming more like PC but like Macs or Homecomputers like the Amiga. At least with the Playstation thats the case. Xbox is now like a pc because its not a suprise since its made by MS who puts DX and Windows 10 on it. Nintendo wont be a console for me too if they put android in the NX.

- The PS4 has a lot of AAA excusives like

Bloodborne

Knack

Infamious second son

Infamious First light

The Order 1886

Driveclub

Killzone Shadowfall

Not only are they AAA but also games who have the best graphics so far in this generation, they look way better than Multiplats both on consoles or PC.

You've got to be kidding me. So games like The Order 1886 and Knack count towards your list of exclusives, while something like Pillars of Eternity, Cities: Skylines, or Total War do not just because the previous two are not AAA titles with huge budgets? I'd take a kickstarter Pillars of Eternity which gives me 67 hours of quality gameplay over the aforementioned PS4 titles any day.

And if we are to speak about an exclusive with good graphics:

Yes. So much fucking YES. Now, all we need is for Episode Duscae 2.0 to release on PC at the same as the consoles, and I'm set on not buying another console for a while. By the way, they need to get Kingdom Hearts and some of their other games on the same boat, imagine a world where the entire Squeenix catalog is avaible through Steam and GoG, nerdy life would be fucking perfect.

I'm now filled with determination.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
Day one (assuming a reasonable price)

This also points more to FFXV PC release.

They arent really high budget games and you can see that, space enverioment is easy to do anyways alien isolation looks pretty much the same

Knack was a high budget game? Infamous first light even? The order probably cost a bundle but was it worth it to sony?

Consoles are practically set spec pcs these days with DLC, patches, and installs. I have no idea why you are bagging out pcs...

Knack and other sony exclusives arent worth much money yet have way more production value than third party games would be able to afford. The ps4 lets you play the games while installing so again wrong.

And? Why does budget matter? A good game is a good game. Also Star Citizen is pretty impressive, including the planet environments. One could say the same thing about DriveClub to be honest. Racing games are even less intensive than Space Sims, and Project Cars is more impressive technically anyway (even if it doesn't look as good.)

Cool! Will most likely try it out!
