I picked up XCOM2 deluxe edition, Virginia and Beyond Eyes on sale. And all of a sudden I've got too many games to play 😋

So the Black Friday deals have been up for 3-4 days now :) What's everyone bought so far?
I'm close to buying a few things so will post my purchases in a little while :)

Witcher 3 Complete ~16€
Forza Horizon 2 ~11.50€
Pool Nation FX ~2€
Terraria ~2€

Thinking about Shadow Complex Remastered and Grow Up, but really not sure about them. Already own Shadow Complex on 360 and completed it.

add to that
Dead Island Remastered ~6€
Dead Island: Riptide Remastered ~6€

I was thinking about grabing the Dead Island bundle also as i've never played any of the series as well :) To many cheap games to grab!

Bought it through the Brazilian store and there the bundle was slightly more expensive than both games combined lol
Honestly, while I almost completed Dead Island already on 360, I'm already having more fun with the remaster than with Dying Light.

It's definitely a good co-op game, so if anyone else bought it we could start a nice co-op session.

*wipes away tears* that list is a joke right? Wait.... it's not? You suck MS.

With digital Gears 4 should have around 650k in the US during Oct.

One NPD insider said that games that have play earlier feature have higher digital ratio than the average which is 30%. In addition to that feature, Gears has the play anywhere feature which should increase the digital ratio.

Even if we considered 30% only, Gears would be at 715k. Still very bad.

I don't know what is the problem with the Xbox  One first party games. Almost every game in the last two years underperformed during its first month. Why?

Halo 5

Gears 4

Forza Motorsport 6

ReCore

Rare Replay

That looks like a great month for GWG been wanting to play Outlast for a while now and Outland was a great game from Housemarque before they started to only develop for Sony so looking forward to that again (I've enjoyed their games since but they just haven't been on Xbox). Sleeping Dogs was always a game I wanted to get around to buy never did so it's a welcome addition also and I'm sure Burnout Paradise will please a lot of people also.

Was just reading about the cancelled Sleeping Dogs 2, damn xD

Great month.

I know the studio shutdown last month but someone may pick up the rights to it maybe Square take on full development or contract another studio to continue it? Who actually owns the IP?

I believe Sleeping dogs was a success financially and had good enough sales so if they actually made a sequel instead of going into other genres they could of built upon the IP but seems like bad management choices were made and they were another victim of the "We are making a MOBA or online only game" that get stuck in development hell or gain no hype due to over saturation of the market along with a few big names taking all the market share in the genre.

Well Square Enix own the IP and we know how they are with sales expectations so to them it was probably a flop

"One problem for Sleeping Dogs 2 was that Hitman and Tomb Raider had taken priority at Square Enix, which meant there was less money to budget towards any Sleeping Dogs 2."

"I've felt for a while now that if Square Enix was ready to produce Sleeping Dogs 2," they said, "they'd rather give Crystal Dynamics a shot since it's a more proven studio than UFG was.  Maybe now that UFG has closed, it will be easier for Square Enix to make that transition. This is just my personal tin-foil hat theory, though. I'm as clueless as any other guy on NeoGAF."

Sounds to me like Square Enix simply chose Tomb Raider/Hitman over Sleeping Dogs sadly, didn't greenlight the sequel and pushed them towards the MP Only thing instead =/

Ah right so at least the IP is "there" to greenlight at some point in the future, Can't really comment on whether I want a sequel though since I've not played it :)

great month for gwg!
