Time to rate some games I've recently played/completed.
AC Unity
Already talked about it. Now that I'm through though (DLC included), I'm gonna lower my score to 7.0. The gameplay falls completely apart towards the end of the game. Animations take far too long, button presses are being ignored, can't dodge shots when there are no enemies in close proximity, climbing is extremely inaccurate etc.
7/10
King's Quest Epsiode 1
Good animation, appealing graphics, funny dialogue, interesting characters. Sounds good and if it wasn't for the giant amount of backtracking I would've given it a great rating. Other than that I'm not a great fan of the old Graham time line and the locations aren't very varied. Solid game though.
7/10
Call of Duty Ghosts (XOne)
Already completed Ghosts twice on 360 and I wasn't expecting much from the X1 version, but I was still disappointed. On a technical level it's pretty meh for a current gen game. I wasn't expecting 1080p as many early X1 games don't achieve that, but I really expected something like 900p, but now that I've checked it, it's 720p. Bummer.
At least the game is as good as I remember. Still a lazy port though.
8/10
Ben-Hur
Free game but shit. At least it's not that boring like.... Zheros for example.
3/10
D4 Dark Dreams Don't Die
Started off great, but the novelty wears off. Some of the characters are just too annoying and the achievements force you to do the most boring tasks ever.
Would've put it above King's Quest, but i'm not so sure anymore. I still have one more episode to go, but at the moment it's a
6.5/10
Forza Motorsport 6
Judging from the free weekend.... amazing. To name the "bad" stuff as that saves me some time: I need more fantasy tracks. Rio is great, Prague from Forza 5 too, but I really wish they would add a few tracks that aren't based on real tracks.
9.5/10
Lies of Astaroth
Nice little free card game. Getting new cards and upgrading them feels good, but the amount of gameplay is quite limited thus far. You basically create your deck and then watch how the game plays for you.
