Any news on Lost Odyssey 2? No. Okay

We'd need to bring back Peter Moore for that...

Nothing on Lost Odyssey 2, no. But a short while ago Phil mentioned that if his team can make Lost Odyssey work for BC, it'll get it's first ever digital release, so thay's good news.

Now, I don't want to get anyone's hopes up too much here, but there is some evidence out there that MS is working on a new Japanese exclusive going by the codename of Project Kyoto. What is the significance of that you might ask? Well, Scalebound's codename was Project Nagano, so the codename Project Kyoto is consistent with Microsoft's codename scheme for Japanese games. There is a possibility that this game is being developed by Mistwalker, seeing as most of the other Japanese studios that have been Xbox friendly in the past are busy with other projects right now.

Not Namco... Then again, they have been Xbox unfriendly ever since Kikuchi resigned...

Yeah, there aren't alot of possibilities as far as studios go. Only a few JP studios have been Xbox friendly in the past, and most of those are busy with other games right now, for instance Tri-Ace has been busy with Star Ocean V recently. Mistwalker on the otherhand has two known projects in development, the console version of Terra Battle which is likely multiplat, and the new IP co-developed with Silicon Studio, and we don't yet have a publisher announcement for the Silicon Studio one, so it could very well be this Project Kyoto. The good news, a trailer for Project Kyoto seems to have already been made going by the resume of a mo-cap actress that also worked on the ReCore teaser trailer, so possible E3 announcement for sure.

I agree about Namco, Hideo Baba in particular seems to hate MS. I can't see any exclusives coming from them, we're lucky to even get multiplat games from them.

Indeed, though I recall that after the Zestiria fiasco they were thinking on either demoting or firing him...

Itagaki just moved his studio to Canada. I'm pretty sure he's gonna need some funding to bring his name back.
What does he have on his resume? Ninja Gaiden... the OG Xbox one.

Sony might not have killed the 360, but it sure as hell did kill the Xbox One.

Now this is what I call a false statement.

Woah he moved Valhalla to Canada, do you have a source? MS should def hit him up for a possible exclusive for XB1. I feel bad for him Devils Third was in development Hell and actually looked better when it was in development with THQ.

If they are in Vancouver then that pretty much spells "I want to work for you MS" in a bold way...

It looks like he is moving out here because of the Talent that he can recruit and to have a bigger presence in the West. MS needs to get on this it's pretty much a match made in heaven, I hope it works out for him.
