Gears POP! is a brilliant move. It's an ad that's generating money.

Reading the previews, Xbox Game Studios might have a 90+ game for a second year in a row. With Ori coming on February, there is a huge chance on making it in three consecutive years. And they will have another chance with Halo Infinit.
That's very important going into next gen. They can start the next gen with customers confidence higher than it ever has been.

Blair Witch seems a bit glitchy so I'm holding off for the moment.

Talking about Game Pass games, we should get a new announcement very soon for September (other than Gears 5 and Dead Cells).
I really need more time to play all those games. Thankfully I only need to work for ~3 more weeks. After that it's 6 months of university. yay :)

Much as I hate to admit it, I can see why MS threw so much $$$ at him.

Fans around the world have long expressed hope that Batista will be cast for the role of Marcus Fenix in the film version of Gears of War, an opportunity he’s described as a “dream role.”

While the movie remains in development, The Coalition didn’t want any more time to go by without giving Batista a chance to don the armor, which he wore for as part of an upcoming WWE Network promotion for Gears 5. According to those who were there, the armor which was created to match the specifications of the game, “fit him perfectly.”

Rod Fergusson, who has cast and directed every Gears title, directed Batista’s performance for Gears 5, including over seven hundred lines recorded for the game.

“Adding Batista to Gears 5, we started with the fantasy of ‘Batista as Marcus,’ putting Batista into Marcus’ armor, and starting with Marcus’ script. Then we added elements of “The Animal” Batista into his voice performance and onto his look by adding his signature Hollywood shades to his character.  Batista was great in the booth and I can’t wait for Gears and Batista fans alike to stomp some Swarm as The Animal.”

Sounds to me like he's been cast as Marcus Fenix for the movie?

This all ties back into the concept of “built, not bought” and bringing the goodness of classic Forza games such as Forza Motorsport 3 and Forza Motorsport 4 back into the ethos and philosophy of what this next experience is going to be about. It’s a big deal for developer Turn 10 Studios, who are also making investments into aero dynamics. “There’s a lot going on in our physics road-map right now,” Esaki says. “We still have 2-3 years of physics development going on.” The Creative Director also noted that the team is “fully aware” of player-feedback about the Forza Aero system, and he took the chance to explain how it works in Forza Motorsport 7, and how the team aims to improve it for the next installment.

Definitely don't think FM8 is making 2020 anymore, 2021-2022 sounds like a safer bet.
