Why can't MS change the release date of Tomb Raider? Why does it have to be on the same day as Fallout? You'd think that since MS has deals with both SE and Bethesda, they could change the dates...

That is just plain stupid by MS, it is just going to end up hurting the sales of TR and make the deal look a lot worse.

Yeah, it will look like MS wasted money on the deal. And future timed exclusive  on Xbox will become impossible for MS to get.

Damn with the digital edition of Gears Ultimate now in the store it says release date of 28th August in the UK even though all retailers have had it as a Tuesday 25th Worldwide release. This better be an error I can't wait an extra 3 days...... :(

XBOX ONE GAME EXPECTED TO RELEASE ON 28/08/2015. YOU MAY DOWNLOAD THE GAME FROM XBOX LIVE BEFORE THEN, BUT IT WILL NOT BE PLAYABLE UNTIL 12:01 AM GMT ON THE RELEASE DATE.

Edit: Amazon.co.uk just changed there release date to 28th August ..... going away to cry for a while.

Yeah, I got the feeling something was wrong with that. Very few physical games break the standard Friday release over there in the UK afaik, just like very few physical games break the standard Tuesday release in the US.

Yea i'm just disapointed since im away that weekend until sunday evening making it a 5 day extra wait for me :(

The only way that releasing RotTR and Fallout 4 the same week is a good idea is if MS plans to bundle Fallout 4 and RotTR together into one super bundle for a good price.

I doubt it. It would lose too much money.

Borderlands 1 apparently coming to backwards compat in the next wave, alongside 4 other games.

Borderlands is in the pic they showed at E3 for BC...there was even a comment in the Preview App why it wasn't available for preview just yet but would be soon.

Really? They already handed SE money bags, all they have to do now is reap what they sowed with that money hat.

They might bundled it with Fallout4 for $400 and still make money after that with potential Black Friday sales.

Well, yeah $400 is a good price for a bundle with those 2 games although that bundle might have trouble standing out among all the great deals. MS should have a Halo 5 and Fallout bundles for $299, and a Fallout + Tomb Raider bunlde for $349.

Unless they're not going to drop to $300 as expected and bundle 2 games this Holiday instead. I'd rather they have single game bundles at $300 though personally. They really need to delay RotTR 2 weeks to that week where it has no real competition imo.

I prefer a single game bundle. They really didn't even need RoTR as a timed exclusive this year. Halo 5 was enough to sell millions of X1's. They should have spent that money for SE on marketing rights for AC, COD, as well as Fallout and RoTR.
