Has anyone here played One Piece: World Seeker? I see that it has bad reviews but I’m interested in picking it up since the gameplay and open world aspect seem interesting to me.

Disliked it, the first hour you may feel 'wow this game looks awesome' but the next 15-25 hours are the same thing over and over and when they are not the same it is bad.   Missions that are so bad that you potentially fail them over and over again to the point you want to rage quit, stupid choices like keep holding the Y button for 30 seconds to open a chest.   Buy it physical if you collect stuff from OP but otherwise I recommend you wait till One Piece Warriors 4.

I’m not really a big fan of One Piece so it looks like I’ll skip it, such a shame though because it looked interesting to me since it was announced. DBZ Kakarot looks similar but I’m also worried about that game so I’ll have to wait for the reviews.

thanks for the info.

well most of them are good. Hated Alpha Protocol though. If the next Obsidian game is anything like that I will quit gaming lol.

I doubt that Obsidians next game will be anything like Alpha Protocol especially with MS backing lol, I got it since most people have told me that it’s slightly underrated even if it has many problems.

Valkyria Revolution has many negative reviews but I still got it cause it’s cheap, also I will try almost any JRPG game just wish that Xbox would have had better support this gen. I’m willing to pick up some B&C tier games even if they are not considered universally good.

Valkyria Revolution worth a try. It has a good story in it but in terms of game mechanics is getting quite boring and repetitive in the first 5-10 hours. Also, some cutscenes are way too long and sometimes you can get a long cutscene after a long cutscene and so on. I would rather recommend playing Valkyria Chronicles 4 over it if you still haven’t played it.

I might pick up VC4 at a later time, such a shame that SEGA didn’t bother to release VC Remastered on XB1 despite the fact that they did everywhere else.

"Starting now, the game is 20% off on all platforms for a full week. And stay tuned, because we have 5 days of fun and giveaways planned"

Translation: don't buy it for 80%, perhaps you get it for free the next days.

Created a separate Game Pass thread (similar to the BC thread), check it out:

Trying to get all released and upcoming games into one list for convenience. Help me out if I missed some.

ASOBO will prove themselves more than competent if they deliver the promises of FS2020.

Wanted to buy World War Z when it launched. Glad I waited.

Man Gears 5 Versus feels so disappointing everything seems to of gone backwards. :(

Minecraft Earth can't come soon enough. Haven't gotten into the beta thus far :/

Yeah it's sad, I was so hyped for it and I thought with Gears 4 they had a right direction and would build on it. I can't think of a single thing it did better than previous Gears except Judgment. And even Judgment had Overrun which made it overall a more enjoyable versus game.

I read there'll be a title update soon so thumbs up it'll improve. Not holding my breath though, it's so full of bizarre design choices. It hardly feels like a Gears game anymore :/
