Cool, Adam Isgreen confirmed their RTS studio isn't called "Age of Empires" and will be getting a new name and logo, thank God.

Now to just hope they don't only focus on Age of Empires.

Considering that this studio was built for AoE I think that this will be their only focus going forward, so it will be the 4th studio locked into an IP. They could also develop that other RTS IP that MS bought though I forget the name of it.

So Mojang is actually developing Minecraft Dungeon themselves? Good on them imo.

With potential spinoffs they could make a Stardew Valley/Animal Crossing Clone or maybe a turn based or open world RPG.

If MS wants to buy a Japanese studio then both Grounding and White Owl are probably on top of that list due to past relationships, Shift the God Eater 1&2 devs would also be a solid get since they are small and are a private company. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shift_(company)

According to Benji Horizon 4 is the fastest selling Forza game.

Looks like what I said about Horizon 4 getting 10 million players faster than Horizon 3 came true after all :)

I would love Grounding or White Owls. If they buy Grounding we need the Crimson Dragon JRPG that Futatsugi wanted to make, as well as a revival of that Phantom Dust reboot. As for White Owls, would be epic if MS both bought them and the D4 rights from Access so that Swery could finish it.

I think that they could easily buy the rights back for D4, they just spent more than the entire budget of Hellblade for Psyconauts 2. Grounding would have to expand to take on projects like the Crimson Dragon RPG and the Phantom Dust Reboot I would want those to be AAA quality. Honestly Grounding seem like they can hit the ground running when it comes to projects if MS bought them since that would be 2 games that they could immediately start work on, Grounding is probably at the top of the list and most likely of the two.

its also interesting that both studios are collaborating on a project so if MS were to buy both they would already be on friendly terms and would benefit both studios and MS more.

Just bought Origins and Odyssey for under 20 bucks each also picked up Syndicate and Ass Creed 1 for cheap. I probably won’t even have time to finish these games since I’m busy lol.

Sounds like an AC marathon.

I also bought the Ezio Collection recently for around €3, even though I know that I don't have time to ever play them again.

Yeah I saw them next to each other while browsing and thought it was a good deal, might as well collect the entire AC collection even though I gave up playing Assassins creed after I was so disappointed with AC3.

Odyssey is great, I only enjoyed Black Flag but Odyssey made me interested in the next AC game.  I platinumed it two days ago and my playtime was around 150 hours.  The game is huge. I would score it a 9/10.

I wonder why Microsoft didn't buy moon studio but bought double fine?
