It's bizarre how popular Fallout 4 is and because of it (oh and 76 of course) I don't have much hope for the series anymore. But then again, mainstream and popularity doesn't always mean quality. That sad excuse of a story.. just... geez..

After this Fallout 76 reviewers wouldn't give Fallout 4 a free pass with all its shortcomings and it wouldn't even reach 80.

Quality can be very subjective obviously but for me, Fallout 4 is by far the best of all.

I love the Fallout franchise and played it from the start (including the tactics) and while Fallout 76 is disappointing (still spending a lot of time playing it ); I was hoping for it to become one of the best game of the series knowing that it was so closely tied to Fallout 4 engine... But well... Some choices from Behesda did not make it happen, starting with the weird no-NPC thing :(

Fallout 3 was a very good game, I've finished it 3 times at least. They even fixed that original ending with DLC. I personally found DC to be a bit boring setting and the map felt empty and bleak. DC was just dark tunnels full of Super Mutants.

I loved the Mojave setting though. Actually me and my wife spent our honeymoon in LA so we could drive around Nevada for couple of days and visit Vegas and other places from New Vegas 🙂 Not that interested in visiting DC or Boston.

New Vegas had some bugs, some game breaking ones at launch too but I still think I experienced more of them in Fallout 4. 4 also had some serious issues with fps dips.

I hope 76 is added to game pass, I'd definitely give it a chance. I've read and heard many saying it has potential and it's better than 4. I don't mind there's no NPC's. It might actually feel like a wasteland again.

Fallout 3 was my GotG last gen. New Vegas was also very fun but nowhere near Fallout 3.
I also agree that it was the buggiest out of them all. It had several game breaking bugs that were never fixed and lead to multiple quests being impossible to complete.

If you haven't played Kingdoms of Amalur, now is the time!

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Yay, I've been waiting for Kingdoms of Amalur to hit BC. Now I can finally play it.

I played FO3 and NV and thought both were awful games. This is when I started to think Bethesda was an overrated developer, note: I also think Skyrim was a trash game too. They publish good games like Doom and Wolfenstein from id Software and Machine Games. Bethesda themselves just make crappy games though :)

As a whole, I couldn't stand New Vegas. I didn't know why, but the setting simply did not call to me. I guess I just dislike Western settings as a rule. I definitely loved F3 the most. That said, my favorite is still F4 solely because the mod support opens up a monumental amount of possibilities to the point content is always being added to the game. Essentially, the Skyrim "Insert Your Own Game Here" meme also applies to F4, if to a lesser extent.

New Vegas and Fallout 4 are the best in the series. 3 was pretty boring.

I get the feeling there will be a short sizzle reel of it at The Game Awards.

It was confirmed to be at The Game Awards at X018. Ashen and Below are looking very likely + some more.
