What 3rd racing franchise should MS add into the rotation?

Kart game (MS IP characters and tracks)
Project Gotham Racing Revival
Midtown Madness Revival
A 3rd Forza franchise focusing on some other aspect of car culture
Other
I don't think adding a 3rd franchise into the rotation is necessary
NA/Undecided

My issues with Halo 5's story were more so with the overall narrative direction than with the smaller nuances though. Sure some of the smaller nuances like dialogue had issues as well, but it was the story direction I really didn't like, Cortana being revived just to become a bad guy, the bait and switch marketing campaign which lead us to believe Oni would be the bad guys, Blue team finally showing up in a game and barely being used, the suggestion that Chief and Locke would have an epic fight which instead was just a couple minute long brawl with a predictable outcome, the hinting that Chief will end up having to sacrifice himself to stop Cortana and the implication that Locke was introduced to replace Chief when that happens, etc. Those are the things I didn't like, and I'm worried about that direction continuing into Halo 6. Now of course, for all I know, that direction could have been created by the previous narrative director instead of Brian Reed and I'm worried for nothing, I'll admit I'm not familiar with any of Brian Reed's works aside from Halo 5. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I can't help but be worried about Halo 6 singleplayer. And of course it's not just the story I'm worried about either, the singleplayer gameplay and the engine had their own issues as well.

Oh I agree but now we're on this path we have to stick to it really or else we end up with another 4-5 situation and a lot of things (Blue Team for example) can be fixed with a better Lead Writer

Best we can hope for is this current storyline just wrapping up as good as possible and a better Lead Writer would help a lot in that.

Brian Reed never should have been made Lead Writer of Halo 5, not sure why he was but his previous experience has been meh at best.

Also I doubt Chief will be replaced now considering how fucking boring Team Osiris is, hoping they're used as canon fodder instead and killed off during Halo 6 and I'm also hoping the Didact returns so we can get back on track with Halo 4's Direction, Brian Reed needs to stop telling major details outside of the fucking games

Edit - They should make it so he's Narrative Director of only Halo 6 too, he keeps fucking up EU, damn now I'm worried again Team Black, Didact, Cortana...Don't let him be in control of anything other than Halo 6's direction and then fire him.

I was just thinking about mainline Halo when I made my other comment but he's been fucking up the extended too recently......

Yeah, I doubt we'll see any significant direction changes at this point, but I can hope at least. Best case scenario for Halo 6 story for me is:

-Blue Team has more screentime and dialogue.

-Osiris has less screentime and preferably aren't playable characters at all. Give us an Arbiter team for the 2nd playable team instead, Arbiter + Rtas 'Vadum + Mahkee 'Chava + One other (not sure which).

-Lord Hood makes a return.

-Chief finds a way to recover the other fragments of Cortana and manages to combine them with the evil Cortana fragment to bring the real Cortana back.

-Chief doesn't die in the process.

-The stage is set for either the Diadact's return or the Flood's return as the main enemy in Halo 7, or both.

- Blue Team definitely need to be used better, sigh, I was hyped for them finally being in a Halo game too....I still love them but they were used poorly in Halo 5 and I feel like Chief reuniting with them after years being apart should have been done in Halo 5 and not in some cheap ass comic book

- Would fucking love for Arbiter's team to replace Osiris and it would also add more variety, Osiris should be killed off (Minus Buck who can just be relocated to another team; One of his ODST Squaddies is a Spartan IV but they were split up) Arbiter's team should be Usze 'Taham, Arbiter, N'tho 'Sraom and Mahkee 'Chava (Would be pretty cool having a female Elite finally in game) meanwhile Rtas 'Vadum can be a shipmaster or swap out.

Seriously Team Osiris serve little to no purpose in Halo 5, minus them saving Blue Team's ass at the end, it would have been awesome to instead have it as Arbiter's team saving Chief, I'd rather it not always just be humans humans humans.

- Didact/Forerunners & Flood need to return, it would be awesome and that's what years of lore have hinted at, at least until Brian Reed took over...Preferably Didact and Flood should return at the same time since it would make things more interesting (Didact hates Flood & Humanity)

- Chief should live, Lord Hood should weed out ONI scum and Atriox replaces Jul Mdama except Atriox wouldn't be a kiss ass to Didact Spartan Ops wasn't really liked so I'm guessing that's why Jul Mdama is being replaced with Atriox which if that's the case is a great change and acknowledging their screw up even though Jul Mdama should have gotten a much better death scene.

- Cortana can go either way, if she's returning then don't do anymore 'Cortana needs saving' storylines, if they can't do that then kill her off, as much as I like the character it's just getting tedious, we saved her in Halo 3, we attempted to save her in Halo 4 (Though I did love Halo 4's story), we're fighting her in Halo 5, we're fighting her in Halo 6

So since Brian reed is narrative director for everything halo that means he is also narrative director for hw2 correct?

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Eh, we'd have to know when he became Narrative Director to know if he had any influence on Halo Wars 2.

If it's a recent thing then I doubt he would have had any influence over Halo Wars 2 at all, if it was soon after Halo 5 then I guess he's doing good because Halo Wars 2 looks great

The deification of Chief is ultimately what's gonna kill Halo's SP campaign interest.

Bungie's Chief was a cybernetic experiment with a personality as interesting as a brick. The fact that most of us loved Halo 4 story is because we finally started to understand the man underneath the green suit and feel a crack on that iron curtain.

We finally saw Chief fighting someone in Halo 4 who was up to snuff and not comical like some Covenant bosses had been before. It is important for the sake of storytelling and character development for Chief to be a human and identifiable.

Team Osiris should've been an antihero team with a leader that is a Spartan Headhunter. They should've placed Chief's morality in question and make the player question him as this holier than thou type of figure.

I don't want Chief to keep his superman complex, while Halo could've been richer with multiple characters with tales to be told in different perspectives.

Do you have fun playing a console different than mine?

DON'T!!!
