Deus Ex. Never got into DS.

Deus ex

Deus Ex for me. Not a fan of Dark Souls or games like that.

Great news for Bethesda. I'm sure digital download will be enormous on X1 as well, because the Fallout 3 incentive will be big for a lot of people.

Wow, I just noticed that Fallout 4 Xbox One Pip-Boy Edition managed to reach #47 on Amazon's Bestsellers of 2015 before selling out. To beat so many other games that have been available for months in just 2 weeks despite limited stock is very impressive. Just as a point of reference, Witcher 3 PS4 is at #89.

Yeah but PS4 and PC version are even more impressive. Even without Fallout 3 as a bonus PS4 version is at #35 and PC version is pretty high too.

There better be a Fallout 4 limited edition Xbox One console. Make that announcement at Gamescom, Microsoft!!!

Fallout 4 will not have load times!

Todd Howard talks about the upcoming sequel during recent interview

Well hallelujah! Fallout 4 director Todd Howard has confirmed that the new Bethesda game will not suffer the same loading screen issues that were ever present during the Skyrim title, insisting that their will be in fact no loading times at all.

During a recent interview with Digital Spy, Howard talked through several of the game's features and even suggested that the new Fallout 4 map could be the same size as Skyrim's (without terrain such as mountains.)

When pressed on the size of the map, he said: “I avoid answering that, and I’ll tell you why. If you look at our previous stuff, it’s kind of like that. We don’t actually measure it like that. Because Skyrim is one size, but the mountains take up a lot of space. That’s not really a game place, it’s in your way, you have to go around it, so we’re not really doing that. In the city, it’s very dense, but there is no load – like in Fallout 3, there’s a load – for areas of the city, we don’t do that."

"So it’s very dense, the buildings are tall, and a lot of them are open, so you can just walk in and around, so… it’s big. I wouldn’t say, you know, if you played Skyrim, I couldn’t tell you it’s X bigger, so we’re just saying it’s about the same size" he added.

Fallout 4 is set for release on November 10th this year and is also available for pre-order on the Xbox Store now.

I really hope this is true. Bethesda games have always suffered from lots of fairly lengthy loading screens. If they've manged to remove them all (except for the initial load-in of course), I'll be very happy.

I hope that it's no where near as glitchy as the other fallouts or skyrim but I'm honestly still looking forward to the game.

Yes, but he mentioned the XBO version because, you know, this is an Xbox thread. Crazy, I know!

He also mentioned PS4 version of The Witcher 3 you know, so I guess there's nothing wrong with making a more apt comparison.
