I still need to play Recore :)
The definitive edition a year after the game released is quite an clever concept for MS to do as it's effectively a DLC pack with the game getting a little more polish charging people $10-15 who owned the initial release as what you would expect for DLC pricing whilst also giving the impressions that it is a new game by attracting people who skipped on the first game to purchase it.
This could be good especially for Recore as if it reviews a lot better than it first did and a lot of the issues critics brought up are improved upon there could be a whole bunch of sales from people who don't buy games that score 75/80+ or whatever ( yes sadly there are many people who just look at a metascore to determine if they will buy a game) There is also the double dip achievement hunters who I'm sure at some point if they enjoyed the game will grab it again to get all that glorious gamerscore once again :P
