I still need to play Recore :)

The definitive edition a year after the game released is quite an clever concept for MS to do as it's effectively a DLC pack with the game getting a little more polish charging people $10-15 who owned the initial release as what you would expect for DLC pricing whilst also giving the impressions that it is a new game by attracting people who skipped on the first game to purchase it.

This could be good especially for Recore as if it reviews a lot better than it first did and a lot of the issues critics brought up are improved upon there could be a whole bunch of sales from people who don't buy games that score 75/80+ or whatever ( yes sadly there are many people who just look at a metascore to determine if they will buy a game) There is also the double dip achievement hunters who I'm sure at some point if they enjoyed the game will grab it again to get all that glorious gamerscore once again :P

I just check around a few UK stores and it seems the Johnny Gat is just a general pre-order bonus here at all retailers :) I'm kinda in the process of giving up PC gaming for good myself (Pretty sure it will never happen though as I love it haha) even if I'm planning to buy a 4K monitor and a maybe a Xbox One X later this year it's nothing compared to what I spend on PC parts hah!

I had a feeling they would offer a free weekend or be it would be in deals with gold sales either tomorrow or the week after as that's when the season 3 starts :)

3rd time MS is changing the XBO UI.

Downloading a 3.5Gb update so will get to check it out when that is done :)

Well there are some things that i dont like about it.

From the video theres nothing that tells us that you can scroll down the home to create and see your content blocks.

Lots of people including me don't care about the suggested friends section.

The guide we have now works fine they didnt have to change it and the inclusion of tabs in the guide makes it look too complicated compared to how simple the guide is now.

The community tab looks way to clustered and all over the place.

Did they have to change the whole look of the UI all over again? We have literally got a new redesigned UI for the past 2 years now.

UI does look a bit better, but they'd do well to realize that one thing most people like above even improvements (at least once a thing works well to begin with) is familiarity. If you just keep overhauling shit all the time, people are very likely to get annoyed, because they just got comfortable with the last update. At some point you gotta stick to minor touch ups.

ugh it's already perfect as it is. Much better than the first UI.
The home space in this update looks terrible.

Dunno what that update was but it wasn't the new UI but I now have a new 3.6GB update so lets see if it is this time :)

from watching the vdeio of Larry+Mike I like the new guide on the left side looks pretty good and if people don't like the new home you can just have the Home with your recent games + pins there basically making it the same as it is now thats how the video make it look to me anyway. The  2 friend suggestion bits are pointless though and could be improved upon by putting some better info there.

Edit: yea this is the new UI patch this time :)

New Forza games rarely get more than 30% discount and now Horizon 3 is having a 40% discount. GET IT.
