Not sure if it was already posted, but the Microsoft Rewards program is finally available to users outside of the US (and Canada?)
Just tested it. Is there someone from the US who frequently uses the service and can maybe share how many points you can achieve per day on the higher levels?

In 2010 Finnish people spent 92 million euros buying physical copies of video games. In 2015 it was only 52 million. Gaming is still as popular as ever and people are buying hardware. X1 is doing worse than 360 unfortunately I believe but the point of the article I read is that digital sales are increasing rapidly. That's a huge drop from 92m to 52m.

This is just Finland of course, we have high speed internet connections in almost every household though. Still I find it funny that in this site you get laughed if you mention digital sales.

TBH most gamers world wide have high speed connections so that's a non issue. That people in Australia, Russia and Chile have horrid latency is a different story...

I was trying to watch a movie with someone from Chile a few days ago, his internet kept screwing up though so we ended up having to do it with my internet.

Yea wait for hot deals. Yesterday they had 4 months of groove music for like 400 points.

Microsoft Rewards is between 270-300 points a day normally, if you do all of the bonus offers, all of the PC searches, and all of the mobile searches.

$5 Xbox Gift Cards are 4,650 points, so you basically earn $5 every 17 days.

12 months of Gold is 29,000 points, which takes about 107 days. 12 months of Xbox Game Pass is also 29,000 points.

Also, I recommended banking up points and watching out for what MS calls Hot Deals. They are special deals they do each month on a certain item that give you a decreased point cost. This month is a 3 month Groove Music Pass for just 200 points, less than 1 days points. Sometimes they have a hot deal on Xbox Live Gift Cards, you can get like $10 for 3,000 points when they do it, which is just 10-11 days points. The catch is that Hot Deal Gift Cards expire alot sooner than the normal ones, so you have to hope they do a Hot Deal on Xbox Gift Cards close to a big Seasonal Xbox Live sale. I currently have a ton of points banked up hoping they'll do a Hot Deal on Xbox Gift Cards close to the Christmas or New Years Xbox Live sales later this year.

oh great I didn't know that. Will definitely keep an eye on it.

Since I just started, I saw that I'm on Level 1. When I get 500 points in a month, I get to level 2, earning more points by doing more searches and even see a slight decrease in points needed to redeem items. Is there anything after level 2 or is it the highest you can get?

Also I didn't see anything about getting extra points for mobile searches. Is that only possible on Windows Phones?

I signed up for the rewards thanks for letting us know, So basically I just open Bing in Edge and search a random work and then spam click the search button each day or does it have to be different search terms? Any things else to know about it?

Also does the money you spend on the Xbox store for digital games give you points or just stuff from the physical store?

When you buy games or anything from MS digital stores you get 2 points per $1 spent. Im not sure how that would work in the UK though.

Ok seems simple enough, signed up and got just short of 400 points in 10 minutes :)

Will it release the same day as PS4 version? Or is it Sony's timed exclusive?
