Easy round for me, Cuphead. It's cheaper, has a more interesting art style, and it's gameplay doesn't look slow

The price side of it it kkinda weird in the UK. $10 difference in the US $19.99 Cuphead vs $29.99 Super Lucky's Tale is quite a difference, In the UK Cuphead is £16.74 (random) and is digital only, Where as Super Lucky's Tale is getting a physical release that is £19.99 and as I'm a Amazon prime memebr the pre-order reduction makes it £17.99 making just over a pound the difference and has resale value as a physical copy which makes it better value in my book.

I voted for Cuphead though and I'm glad it's not just me who thinks the gameplay of Super Lucky's Tale looks real slow.

Can we just skip the rest of the indie rounds, and crown Ori the winner? We all know that it's gonna win every round by a landslide anyway.

Ori.

The Last Night gets my vote.

Should be seperate, it's a standalone expansion/game. Guessing it will have a full 1000 GS on XB1 and a Platinum on PS4, but it's not confirmed yet. We do know it's about half the length of Dishonored 2; Dishonored 2 has 9 levels (one of which is pretty short), Death of the Outsider has 4 apparently.

Hmm that's a shame. I'd prefer those achievements to be shared with base game so it would be easier to get 1000+ gamerscore :P Separate achievements for each game in Bioshock The Collection was already annoying. Master Chief Collection got it right. This is hardly an issue though hehe. Looking forward to Death of the Outsider anyway.

Voted Ori obviously.

Casey destroyed the Mass Effect trilogy. Hope he learned something and will help Bioware from now on.

But..as Comic Book Guy would say: Worst. Ending. Ever.

What exactly does his role of General Manager actually involve? and is that at once specific Bioware studio or across the entire company?

Eh, It's not destroyed for me, sure ME3 has a crap ending but the trilogy is still a collection of amazing games and that's not his only work (Jade Empire, KOTOR).

We can't pin all the blame on Casey either, Mac Walters was the Lead Writer of ME3 and would have had a huge say in that ending, he also went on to screw up Andromeda while Casey took a break

I can't see Casey pulling off any of that ME3 Ending Bullshit with Drew as Lead Writer.

He's in a different position now too (From Director to General Manager)

Yeah even Mass Effect III was a great game. Halfway through the game I was sure I'd play the whole trilogy again and boom. It was destroyed and i see no reason to go back. Extended ending didn't help. It's such a shame. I remember reading it was Casey's artistic vision or something.

Jade Empire was a great game! Didn't even know it was his work.

MS put someone who did the Mass Effect games as creative director for Hololens shit? WTF MS, glad he went back to Bioware; Not like MS has a good 1st party stable of games he could have worked on anyway.

I don't really understand this general opinion people seem to have on Bioware these days like they're trash. ME3 was a fucking amazing game. Ya, it has a shitty ultimate ending, but all the endings of all the various story arcs that they weaved in throughout the game were done flawlessly. The game was a masterpiece. Then they did DA: Inquisition, which had it's flaws, certainly, but it was a fantastic game nevertheless. Won tons of GotY awards, and put the DA franchise back in a good place, after the rushed mess that was DA2 threw everything out of whack. And then we have ME: Andromeda.....not Bioware's finest game to be sure, but also not nearly the train wreck the internet has made it out to be. It starts very slow, and there were bugs galore at launch, but it got patched fairly quickly, and once you sink your teeth into it, it's a very good game in many respects. It's biggest issue ultimately, is that it leaves too many plot threads unresolved, sequel baiting just a bit too much on every front.

Bioware's demise has been greatly exaggerated by the hive mind that is gaming's online community
