Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Splatoon: Nintendo why do you insist on bad ideas for great games?!

This whole thread is now about the motion controls. lol

There is so many things wrong with Splatoon:
1. Games usually get decided by someone dropping out and the game becoming 4v3
2. In random matches, often the two players with highest levels are put on the same team (e.g. two guys with lvl > 19, the other team gets that levl 1 dude)
3. Better guns and equipment favoring players of higher levels - unfair for new beginners

3. So you are against the game letting you unlock the weapons every level? They shoould be all avalible from the beggining and for 0 money?? That makes no sense at all.

2. It´s random! so that´s something that obviously would happen, at the next match the players are radomly assigned again, so there is a 50% chance of the level 1 being on one team or another everytime.

1.  that 4vs3 thing has only happened to me 2 times in 15 hours of game, (and my team won one of those btw) so not really a big problems, and what should be the solution? stop the game? oh sorry one disconection, all you STOP PLAYING. No.

3. Make them equal in impact.

2. No it is not. I played the same lvl 20 combo for at least 6 games in a row. there was hardly any switch.

1. It happens to me every fourth game or so.

3. That makes even less sense. The weapons are too different for having the same impact, and rewarding the player with weapons that have the same qualities than the first ones... that´s  not a reward at all. I want better weapons when I level up.

2. We should be playing different games, because my team is always changing.

1. Now we really are playing a different game. 2 times in 15 hours VS one time every 12 minutes lol.

1. you're really having bad luck, outside of the test fire all my games have been 4v4 the whole time.

The motion controls are actually pretty good after working with them for a while. As for all those other things, I imagine the game was released early so they tried to get in as much as they could prior to the end of May.

Hopefully by August, this game will have tons more features and I'm really looking forward to what lays in store for it. Splatoon's great and I see a lot of potential!

I too was disappointed to hear about limited local multiplayer. Hopefully Nintendo figures that one out with an update/sequel.

Do you realise that there are Ranked Match modes were you will play with players of your skill?

Wiimote would be cheating
