Well, this is releasing this year, so it doesn't really prove anything (although I certainly don't think Wii U will be replaced in 2016 regardless).

Haha, didn't even think about that. I'll accept that Sega isn't totally out of the console business when they announce a brand new Sonic game.

Lol,FAIL!I thought that since it's about 2016 RIO Olympic Games,it would release same year,and I supposed that nintendo would inform sega if a wii u replacement was sceduled for 2016,so in order to make it for the successor!

The excitement for these games dropped off precipitously after the first one.

Another game added to the Wii U library cant be a bad thing, especially as this game, like the previous one was no doubt pretty cheap to make. With the popular charcaters and kids getting Wii U around the holidays, this game will easily get between 500k-1M in sales. OK its a lot less than its heyday, but still good enough.

A Baby Yoshi you're comparing to Sanic... Come on spurge... come on...

I think this game will easily outsell the Winter one (I think its around 500k). The Winter games im guessing, aren't as popular as the regular summer olympics. I think with the bigger install base, holidays and boost around the olympics (needs re-advertising), this game could breach 1million in sales.

Not really a fan of this series so I probably will be passing this game
