Based on what I'd be interested in playing?

Keep in mind not sure what some of these titles are on both lists. I bolded the ones I have interest in.

PlayStation 4 - 27 titles

Xbox One - 2 titles

Making a thread like this only 2 weeks away from E3 is kind of pointless since you never know what could be announced.

It's heavily difficult to choose the Xbox One in this kind of dual. Amount and variety have always been the trademark of the Playstation brand. It is impossible for Microsoft to compete in front of the mountain of indies, japanese and first party exclusives hits who come every year on PS4. I truly believe that unique experiences like Bloodborne, No Man's Sky, Until Dawn, Persona, Rime, The Witness, Tearaway, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture & many other can become credible contenders for the title of "game of the year". Forza, Halo and Tomb Raider will be without a doubt excellent productions, the best broths are cooked in the oldest pans. But...maybe a little too ordinary for my taste.

@SWORDF1SH

Good job, but you forgot some games (like Toukiden, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Star Ocean 5...and probably several other).

actually, if another were to be done the week after E3, we could gain alot of insight into how well each side did, away from the usual just shouting for your own side.

No exclusive will get a better score than bloodborne , so PS4 has thé best exclusive according to metacritic, and as good as Halo will be, i dont think it will get as much on méta, the last one had "only" 84

One has also Forza as exclusive, whereas PS4 has Dragon Quest Heroes , so depending on your tastes, it will be either One or PS4, its a tie for now

Id say PS4 imo because im not really on driving games, except Mario kart maybe , and i préfer rpg's

Also PS4 could get other good exclusives for thé end of the year, depending on the localisation of some games and thé release of Rime, tomorrow children ( great potential this one), and depending on until dawn quality

Youll notice i talk only about exclusives, on topic, before anyone says Hellblade, Tearaway, P5 or Tomb Raider, etc. since they are on other platforms/timed so not PS4/One exclusives by définition

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

PS4

Bloodborne
Dragon Quest Heroes
Persona 5
Samurai Warriors 4-II
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3
Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence
Rocket League
No Man's Sky
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
God of War III Remastered
Rime

None of the Xbox games interest me, apart from maybe Forza? But Driveclub and other titles on PlayStation make up for it.

I'm not sure where this whole Sony awful line up thing came from. Microsoft have 3 Big AAA exclusives this year (one is timed) Sony have so far released 2 Big AAA exclusives (one of them is a somewhat acquired taste) and E3 hasn't happened yet?

It's not Sony's fault they're aware that gamers play games all year around.

This.

Proud to be a Californian.

I have to go with PS4.

'Medium Games' like the already awesome Helldivers or the upcoming Alienation (it's Housemarque, it will be great...) entertain me for hundrets of hours I just love this whole Twin-Stick-Shooting-Genre. Then there will be Persona 5 and No Man's Sky I'm also hyped for.

Bloodborne was brilliant and then there will also be Until Dawn or SOMA which will deliver some good horror aswell.

The One nearly had nothing this year so far and even though I don't like Halo or Forza these games are of course killer apps. Still for me the PS4 has the way better line-up this year - and I'm hoping for some smaller games that will be announced on E3 this year.
