Supposedly buying the Silent Hill franchise for "billions of dollars"

I'm pretty sure that amount of money completely destroys any possibility of being true...as Silent Hill is not worth even a billion. Probably not even several hundred million.

But I wonder if MS instead is buying Konami's entire catalog? With Metal Gear as well??

Bullshit. Silent Hills 80% done? Unless they mean the "blueprint" for the game, which is still far fetched, that alone de credits this.

What a bullshit. Firstly I believe the game was still at the very early stage and not worth a purchase. And what hell, billions? Like Minecraft? Yeah, sure, because Microsoft is well known to spend billions on a almost niche japanese franchise.

Not to mention, Konami just annouced a new Yu gi oh game for PS4/XB. Isnt that counter intuitive to leaving console market quickly? They released a statement saying they would continue home console development.
