12 is not so bad, but is not Final Fantasy in my opinion.

X is the one we all had to slog through just to get to the good stuff.

If you're just going through X the game is complete shit. If you love side quests and do them all it's passable. What we all need is a sequel to X-2.

You could have skipped X and go straight into X-2.

Because time is better spent on games that are fun.

Oh, I also liked the ability of using every single party member in a fight. That was nice as well.

FFX is a terrible game with a good OST. People let nostalgia blind them,I know I have with some games. FFX is pretty much FF13 and some refuse to see it. FFX is a terrible game. FFX story is really REALLY stupid for spoiler reasons,just Luna belongs in a looney bin. 12 was good with dome terrible characters like Vaan and not been a good FF since 12.

Yeah 12 is pretty great and set in Ivalice my fave FF world. Vagrant Story and Tactics also set in Ivalice.

Since you played IX before I would recommend you put that behind you - X is a quite different game IMO, and quite frankly, in my Book IX is better than X

As you say, there are several similarities between X and XIII.

The OST in X is simply amazing, among the best in the FF series.

I did not feel quite the disconnect you seem to feel when playing X. Very strange things happen for sure in the story with little or no explanation but to me it felt like a mystery slowly being revealed
