Whut why have one weeks before E3?

A direct before E3?
Odd, but ok.

Hopefully they will use this to go over stuff like Yoshi, Fatal Frame and Mario Maker. Which will free up the majority of the E3 Direct for new announcements.

Come on guys,why not?I think that they want to show new games at E3 at most,so the footage of already announced games for Japan,will be showed in that direct and not E3!:P
Splatoon DLC
Hmmmm...do we know anything about what games are coming out this summer in Japan? When are they getting Yoshi's Woolly World? Also, maybe Nintendo feels that E3 is only for North America, so they want to talk about what's coming out for Japan first. Don't know just guessing.
Well that caught me off guard. Git hype anyway!
It will be 20 minutes where iwata practices "Please understand..." and at the end of he will just smile "See you at E3".
