People who don't know better believe it means nothing.

PS1&PS2 eras were the best console gens. It rapidely declined with the 7th generation. Although both are to blame, Sony and MS, Sony at least has a better understanding and isn't blindly throwing money around, with no focus and no concept of diversity.

Considering there are two handhelds and only one supported major handheld, so one ought to be higher than 50% marketshare unless they have the exact same numbers. Oh and Vita is dead so barely anyone cares. Nobody cares to compare the numbers of the Wii U with the PS4 there is simply no point doing it. 50% marketshare with 3 major players on the other hand within 20 months while one competitor had a head start is an amazing achievement.

100% without competition isn´t that hard to be honest, but 66% should be a nice acomplishment  and as long as Sony is outselling the Xone + a few Wii U sales it is bound to happen unless MS makes a huge return.

It is my console of choice, so it is fairly cool. It was the dark ages for me the first couple of years here with wii dominance. Oh, how things have changed. I used to be happy the 360 and PS3 together greatly beat the the Wii, now both alone beat the wii u easily. Good shit.
