I guess being two months behind in weekly numbers is causing people to be completely insane. I am immune to this.

Who said COD and AC is going to be under a sony content deal? Also halo, fable, and Forza don't count? Lol.

It's not been confirmed but evidence points to AC and COD having a Sony deal. He's saying because 'technically' the holiday season is November and December the only thing they have is a timed exclusive. Which is godly levels of spin.
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'
This route actually makes more sense. November is always a fest of huge third party titles. 1st party releasing their games in slightly more bare sept/oct and december months probably brings more visibility to the exclusives and as others have mentioned, Halo isn't suddenly going to stop having an effect on potential buyers a few weeks after its release. They've got every month covered with a big release and probably have 1 more title to announce for the fall, their line up is flawless. If only if they could be equally as strong during Q1/2

Forgot about Fable but it's just a f2p title it'll go unnoticed like Project Spark did last year. So yeah as far as Holiday 2015 goes we have just one timed exclusive. |
holiday launched are usually the games launched between sep- dec. while technicially sep and oct arent the holiday season, they are in the months leading up to the holidays and are considered part of the holiday releases. rarely do we see games released in December, because they would have missed out on the big months before it, and of course, black friday. thats why games usually release before black friday.
Forza and Halo releasing early sounds good to me.
Put them in a holiday bundle and it will be very hard to resist.
TheObserver said: It seems only XB1 exclusive for the Holidays is Tomb Raider, which is timed itself. This is probably the worst Holiday for console in history. Should MS push these games back to make for a better Holiday lineup? |
What are you talking about. Both Forza and Halo are holiday titles. Just because they came out a month earlier doesn't mean they will stop selling in the holidays. The holiday season for games actually start in september, thats when there's an increase of game releases. Only a select few dare come out in november due to fear of the big titles.
I think MS holiday is well balanced. Why would they launch Halo 5 in September with MGS5 or in November with CoD & Star Wars Battlefront? Fable is free to play so it won't make a difference when it launches and Forza is not going to do much for hardware anyway.
