Bayonetta 2 is a great game, was a really pleasant surprise to me, I never played hack'n'slash games before. I'm feeling kinda bored of gaming too btw, I bought Pokémon Omega, ALBW and Majora's Mask 3D recently, and the three of them are just sitting on the shelf waiting to be played =/

I haven't gotten burned out myself. Still enjoying games, and still getting excited, especially with the new ones coming soon. Maybe you need a small break?

I have felt like this as well, but the feeling comes and goes. I think part of it, for me at least, is realizing the futility in it all. Playing games doesn't add anything to RL (unless this is the best it is RL wise for some people, which I have nothing against). Right now, I am back into games, but sometimes I just wonder what the point is (especially with these games that hold your hands...feels like a waste of time more than anything--bring me back to Shadow of the Colossus, please).

This happens to me from time to time as well. It was just a phase though and I'm enjoying games more than ever. Because my time is so limited, I really value the time I have to game. Maybe you can try a game that's outside of your comfort level? Indies are more popular than ever and some are excellent. You can also just take a break from gaming all together and come back whenever you feel ready.

Broaden your horizons..play different games. You'll always find something that won't bore you.
