Is just me or are games getting really boring? Or am I just getting bored off games? I really got into games properly when I got a n64. Since then I've owned every major console except Xbox one. But now I can't be bothered with games like GTA5 or shadow of mordor because it feels like I've done it all before.

Same with watchdogs played it for 10mins not touched it since.BF4 bores me. Fifa was OK for one season but after winning league I sold it.

The wii u got me back into gaming after a 5 year hiatus where I was too busy drinking/ partying etc to game.

Anyone else feel like this?

You might just be burned out with them. I went through a similar period where I just quit for a good 6 months. Got back into it and it was much better. Never force yourself to play something, if you're not having fun, you're not having fun.

Went through that at the end of 2013.it happens. Just take a break

I left my Wii U at home for school after last year's atrocious grades and my interest in gaming went down because it's not there and I get busy. Nothing wrong with that, and it'll be there if you decide to come back.

Porn games are getting better and better

Yup. After the announcement of the X1/PS4 I about retired from gaming. I even had plans on reinvesting in my retro collection because it seems like that was when gaming was its best. But Wii U had the WWHD bundle and I bought it on Black Friday for $250. Ever since I've loved gaming again. Wii U pretty much saved me from the same old same old that gaming has been.

I once stopped gaming for about a year, cause I thought it was boring, and now I'm greatly invested in gaming again.

If you're not having any fun AT ALL, just take a break.

Your old, and Most of the games you have mentioned were open world sandbox games. You've probably been playing a lot of games latley so you slowly started to pick up on the modern design choices they share.

Mid PS3 era games got boring for me. I started to enjoy indie games more, and havent bought a cod, battlefield or fifa in ages.

Just try a bunch of indie games, and maybe 1 or 2 of the larger AAA releases per year. Indies just far surpass retail
