I think Splatoon can get over 1m in sales, but any more would be a stretch. I'm not sure if it can even exceed Titanfall's sales on the 360.

Well i just have a wii u (and laptop for starcraft2) and never had any problems with no games.

I got the wii u 6 Month ago. So far I got: [price i bought in brackets, all games brand new retails, nothing used]

mass effect 3 (40 hrs, completed)  [10€]

Wind Waker HD (40 hrs, completed, sold for almost same price as bought) [40€]

Zelda Skyward Sword (35 hrs, not completed, playing atm) [30€]

Call of Duty Ghost (30 hrs, campaing completed, some online but got boring fast) [10€]

Assassins Creed 4 (25 hrs, not completed, pretty boring compared to winkwaker hd [got both game simultanous]) [15€]

Mario Kart 8 (100 hrs+, still playing online for some hours a week) [bundled]

Watch Dogs (100 hrs, completed, still playing online hacking some hours a week) [50€]

Splatoon [its on my home, unfortunaly im not home till tomorrow :(] [35€]

So overall i think i got a pretty decend playtime in the past 6 month for my money.

Really cant say i wouldnt have any games to play on wii u. I got more games on my wii u as most of my ps4/xbox one friends got games for their systems yet. Cant compete to my pc friends for sure, scince most have like hundrets of games they bought on steam sale and had never even downloaded :D

People will laugh, but I believe. I think that the first month will show over a million in sales. It already is at a nice price in EU, and it would have been wise if NOA did the same thing. That will be its biggest barrier. Yes I prepurchased, but after MP10, KRC, Captain Toad, Tipping Stars etc. NA Nintendo fans are trained to not want a $60 game.

After word gets out and the reviews hit, I can't imagine the game not doing great. And with Nintendo legs I wouldn't be shocked in the least if people who were holding out for Zelda U pick up Splatoon because they heard it was the Mario Kart of shooters.

Maybe if the Wii U becomes 199.99 and the game is bundled.

I don't think so. But at the risk of looking like a jackass in the future, I won't say it's impossible.

1.5-2m is my hope (well, anything over 1m and I'd be satisfied)

Might get close, still there's a very good chance that Titanfall (XBO ) will end up victorious.

No, is not. Splatoon had a great run at COMG, it had more points than 3D World and Xenoblade combined. I think we can discuss.
