Handheld gaming is in the brink of extinction. On the bright side, Sony won't make the same mistake twice (but theyll surely release a new one in the East) and will only concentrate in making the PS4 a megaton because it sells above the 50 per cent of the market share and that it's what counts.

I'm going to have to assume that the Vita price drop rumors are true. This sounds more like a death knell than ever before. I thought it was going to go out gracefully like the PS2, but this is starting to sound like a Dreamcast situation. Gee I wonder how much Vita memory will cost when it becomes a collectors item.

So... Too soon to ask ioi to remove it from the frontpage?

I'm sure that third party companies will make compatible memories for the Vita. Who knows, maybe they are even cheaper than the ones made by Sony.

Why? the teams can just release their games as small titles for ps4 or merge to become AAA studios 

So do you guys think they'll port games like persona 4 golden, gravity rush, uncharted golden abyss, killzone etc to the ps4? You know.. Just to really step on it and kill it for good

rerelease it with a bigger screen... 150 or less price point..... and 15 buck vita hits lineup like lbp, uncharted, and gravity r..... and market it and it'll sell double for sure..

What about its 12-year lifespan?
