If they do release it it would probaby be like a twilight princess kind of deal where its released at the end of Wii U's lifespan and then enhanced with next-gen controls, assuming thats a good thing.

It'll probably be a double release like TP was. Doubt it will be considered a "master quest" version.

i say 2 years because a new home console has been out every 5-6 years since n64. 

and it wouldn't take to long to add some features to an already made game.

What if the NX is some form of tablet? I would doubt it would be getting the definitive edition of Zelda U if that were the case.

It's 5 years. Since N64 only the Wii has a 6 years life span, but dead after the 4th one (2010). Wii U is not in the same position as it has sold 1/10 of the Wii. So no, nothing points to a homeconsole until 2017. This is not the same situation as before, even the GameCube sold a lot better.

And I'm tired of remakes. They have to release new content.

You're also assuming that NX is a console. AND backwards compatibility will be removed. I wouldn't want it made. And a port for the following system. Because, this isn't a HD remaster. Since it already IS an HD game.

The sad part of this is if the NX is a home console, this is very possible and the next Zelda will do what Twilight Princess did.
