Games are just costing too much to produce these days so these re-releases are being used to bring in cash while new games are being made. Unfortunately a product of the current industry. 

I don't mind them however, I like complete editions and collections

If that`s the case, it has me concerned for the industry....

Wouldn't mind if they would remaster the first Dead Rising game with improved survivor AI and no load times. Should be digital only though like the RE and upcoming RE0 remastered version.
