At first contact. A space invaders mini arcade console. Played it for so many hours. I wish i still had it.

Hunting Season is done...

PS1 my first gaming system.

I'm surprised this thread is still alive XD It's really cool seeing so many of your stories though. Looks like the majority were hooked by NES, SNES, and PS1 o.o

PlayStation One. Crash Bandicoot 3, Crash Team Racing and Spyro the Dragon was my childhood.

Sega genesis, specifically because of shining force 1 and 2!

Well I have always had a gaming system that I always played. GBA, PS1, Gamecube, Wii, DS, 3DS, 360 etc but I would say I didn't become a "gamer" until I got the Wii U in 2013. I had quite a lot of games on the Wii and DS though that I constantly played and got good at. The 3DS was similar, with Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem being my first games, however, at that time, I was still addicted to AQW, an MMO game that uses Flash.

However, I've moved on from that and since the Wii U I've been heavily into gaming and I don't think I'll quit it anytime soon either. :D

N64. So many fond memories. I think Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon and Goemon's Great Adventure were the games which influenced me a lot as a gamer, but also as a person.

There are also many more games that had quite a bit of impact on me on the N64 and I think that specifically in terms of shaping me as a "gamer", Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask would have to be the front-runners.

AppleIIGS: King's Quest

The Gameboy started it all for me. Link's Awakening was a masterpiece might I add.
