Yeah... Their was a big raid on one of their ranches in Texas and the arrest of their leader that made national news.  They are still plenty of drama, but it is mostly just contained to the local news.  Right now their is some legal drama over money.  Their members don't actually own anything, they give everything to their church and then the church divides it up.  Evidently one of their leaders had been siphoning funds so now the government has put somebody in charge of their funds and they are fighting it... Or something like that... I only half pay attention to all their crap these days...

I live in Northern Utah, so I only get limited info on the groups up here.

Haha, really?  Yeah I am in northern Utah now too, small world.

Don't support either. Neither are needed in our modern society. Not that my opinion will sway the minds of those who believe in it nor would their words convince me to accept their lifestyle.

I don't feel strongly one way or the other. I wouldn't campaign to allow 3 people to marry each other, but if it were on a ballet, I suppose I would vote yes. I don't see why I should get in the way of what three consenting adults want to do, it's not hurting me, or anyone, in any way.
The only problem I see with it is that a lot of people might abuse if for tax purposes incredibly easily.

Polygamy seems like it could become a legal cluster-fuck unless you dramatically reformed our current system along with the allowing of multiple wives/husbands, but i have no problem with the general idea. It's not really any of my business what relationship structure or dynamic other people want to follow, provided everyone involved is willing (and, of course, capable of making such decisions).

That all said, it's not something that would interest me.

Salt lake (specifically Taylorsville)

nah, dealing with one girl is enough, can't imagine dealing with two, three or even more...one p***y is all I need

Not my thing, but as long as it doesn't involve inbreeding i say go for it.

Not as far as recognised relationships go (and so I picked neither). However I have no problem with people feeling they need to involve other people in a non official manner. However if we're talking about legal rights etc. I think it would just become a gold mine for lawyers.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I dunno. I would want to see studies on how it affects kids having that many adults under one roof. I had a hard enough time sneaking behind two parents, can't imagine how hard it would be for three or more.

Legally I see no issues, but there shouldn't be further tax breaks beyond a pair or two people or it would get seriously abused.
