I wish...

Anyway, I agree with the others, that music is amazing.

Bets:

1. If the Wii U sells closer to 10 million LTD by 1/3/2015 I win. If it sells closer to 9.5 million LTD by 1/3/2015 OfficerRaichu15 wins (winner gets 2 weeks of avatar control)--Lost.

Won't stop people from still expecting the game at the conference, people always find ways to tell themselves that Nintendo (or any other company really, the same's happening every year with Sony and TLG as well for example) just lied or was misunderstood for some reason.

how many times lied nintendo about zelda before?

Skyward sword will be 100% in 2010.

zelda wii u will be 100% in 2015.

whoosh

Well yes, but those are development problems. What i mean is, even if you have the best team and resources at your disposal, you cant really know if there will be problems with the engine, like Kh3 had, or the vision for the game get bigger and you end up doing more than you planned to do, like happened to the Witcher 3.Those are things you cant know so early, and you dont count them in when you give a launch window to a game. But having a trailer ready or a part of the gameplay to shown without leading people stray of what the game really is by a certain time is much simpler.Truth is we do not know why nintendo wont show it, but i dont believe he is a company that would simply lie about something like this

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Unfortunately, I don't think so.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

They literally said Zelda wouldn't be at E3

I still think they will show a teaser trailer for it. I just remember Anouma saying it would be playable at this years E3, and now they said it won't be at E3. They can still show the trailer and not have the game at E3.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

Maybe the game won't be at E3 because it won't be playable at the show floor, but in the end will be in the Digital Event even if it's a 1 minute story trailer.

I just hope it shows up in some form too.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

What are the chances of them loosing all or some of thier work?

Zero. Unless they are completely restructuring the game (say for a new console, or to change the artstyle or what have you). Either way you'd think they could get something out for E3 given we saw it around 6 months ago.

Then why wouldn't they release the zelda u we were shown?

Reggie will wear a Legend of Zelda pin, like that time he had a Metroid pin at those awards where they revealed Cranky Kong for DKC Tropical Freeze

Guys its really skipping E3. Don't set yourself up with disappointment

NOA tweets

Miiverse post from Aonuma himself:

"Since we’d like to focus on developing the game we’ve decided to not show the game at this year’s E3. "

That said, I really hope they don't change they art style of this game whenever it decides to release. And I really want an option to play as female Link if he's already wearing a ponytail.
