Forums - Gaming Discussion - Should Nintendo give special tratment to Bizerta:Silent Evil like they did to Bayonetta 2?

Considering that Capcom resident evil franchise games are following the footspes of shooters more and more and that not only Konami has cancelled the promising Silent Hill game(P.T) but also decided to focus their business more on the mobile market, do you think this is a perfect opportunity for Nintendo to give special treatment to Bizerta:Silent Evil just like they did to Bayonetta 2 by announcing it at events like E3 or Gamescom and help with the advertisement?

The game might be an indie game but the screenshots and story background look promising, it feels like a mix of classical resident evil and silent hill elements(though its unlikely gonna use pre renders like the classical resident evils and spoil the free movement and camera feeling).

When I saw this

I felt back to this

The game might be an indie game but the screenshots kind of reveal a good horror atmosphere that remind us how resident evil games and silent hill started

The only thing i dont like its that it seems there wont be physical release, so, what are your thoughts?

Wouldnt be the E3 or the Gamescom a perfect opportunity to showcase an horror game with classical approach when CAPCOM Resident Evil games are now following the shooters footsteps and Konami having cacelled Silent Hill(P:T) and now focusing more on mobiles games?

Shouldnt Nintendo secure the game exclusivity and maybe even be as supportive as they were with the development of Bayo2?

Of anything, Nintendo should buy SH already.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Well, maybe horror games are not as attractive as they were befoore in the past, but i thougt that maybe since to many people want a more classical approach instead of what resident evil games have become I thought it was woth the try, and even if nintendo doesnt own the IP they can just do what they did with bayonetta2 so that the game can only come on Wii U, or just pay for a time based exlcusivity o 1 or maybe even 2 years

eh, its exclusive for now. And we don't even know if the game is any good. We have seen no in game footage. Or even enemies, just environments that the person is walking through.... I'm also pretty sure this is being made by only one guy. Nintendo would never invest money or time into something like this. Nintendo can advertise it, like they do for many indies, but there's not much they can invest in. Who knows, if its good, they could show case in the treehouse or directs. Don't expect any more.

Well, a treehouse presentation wouldnt be that bad idea and at the same time they could determine if the game deserves a chance, for example, at frist Miyamoto didnt expect Splatoon to be as attractive as has resulted and now after the people reactions Nintendo is giving great support for the game advertisement and development(although disabling voice chat hasnt been one of the best decisions); I think its worth the try to give a treehosue presentation a te E3 and see if must of the people do like Bizerta or not

They can't give it the same level of treatment as Bayonetta, it's too small even compared to Bayo.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they show it some support in Directs and the Digital Event. This and Fast Racing Neo are both shaping up to be pretty good quality indies with good visuals, would be good show pieces. Assuming that they look as good in footage. But publication and and big advertising and all that investment? Nah, not worth the risk.

Nintendo would be far better off buying a port of COD.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Nintendo has a horror game of their own (they co-own the IP and are publishing the game) in Fatal Frame V. That game would be better served what you're asking for.

I'm glad it's exclusive and I will be getting it, I just wish there was a physical release for it.

Not sure, i know fatal frame games are welcome in Japan but havent heard of success on western locations, as for Bizerta, although is not very well known, is made more for the western taste with those classical Resident Evil elements, and it seems that will also include some Silent Hill elemsnts as well since the game is inspired in both Resident Evil and Silent Hill games

Resident Evil and Silent Hill inspired BIZERTA: SILENT EVIL from the rising independent studio Edrox Interactive  is shining light into the horror genre’s presence on Wii U announcing they are committing full development to Nintendo’s gamers everywhere playing on the capable home console! After beginning production in September 2014, the experience targeting portability with a planned Vita/Playsation mobile release, German studio Edrox Interactive due to restrictions on publishing for PSM/Vita were just simply forced to revaluate the future for their upcoming horror IP. Today, they are revealing to the public that the title has ultimately made the jump over onto Nintendo, officially delaying the games development elsewhere. BIZERTA: SILENT EVIL sets the stage inside a disheveled mansion softly lit by the moonlight overrunning its foliage and blanketing its corridors with darkness. Players armed and equipped with flashlight are confronted with panic inducing gameplay elements driving players forward into the monstrous nightmares lying in wait lurking silently beyond the shadows.

I wonder what edrox is using for development?

Unity Engine maybe?

This game probably won't make it to Wii u. If Nintendo wanna do horror do eternal darkness HD and a sequel. This silent evil looks good though
