Yeah, I really want good, developed modes. Online and offline. If it has this kind of replay value, it's a for sure buy near launch.

If not, I'll get it sometime down the line but probably not day 1 because I think it'll be released in a sea of other games.

That's a deal-breaker? I'm sorry to hear that you won't be enjoying Star Fox U.

Seriously though, that would be really awesome. Something that I'd like, though I know I probably won't get it, is a longer story with a few deeper mechanics. I love the flying and shooting, but I'm not a fan of the whole two-hour arcade experience thing. I'd rather have one lengthy campaign than have to play through a short one again and again to try and play all the levels, which I can't because I suck at Star Fox. Upgradeable ship would be really rad too.

No stupid twists that have ruined every Star Fox game after 64. Just a regular HD game flying some ships shooting down Andross.

Fun online. I'm 100% sure the single player will be a blast, so my only concern is the online. But seeing how Nintendo is handling Splatoon/MK8/SmashBros., and I'm also expecting great things from Star Fox in the online department.

As a side note: I'm also curious to see how the game looks after Miyamoto saying it's beautiful and all.
