Splatoon must sell 290,000 France+Germany+Italy+Spanish+North.America+Rest of World...

With this, its not taking a risk to say 500k FW + digital

I'm impressed by those UK sales though, and I'm one of them! :D

I think the digital sales für Splatoon may be relatively high. It's not a one-and-done game but a game you will play everyday forever... like MK8. So people are more entices to buy digital and there is the 10% discount for people who played the demo in some countries.

I just hope it can sell over 1 million. If so, we might get a sequel.

Yes, this sounds like a very reasonable prediction

With 190k only on Japan and looking some predictions here... Ryng you should prepare the crow

No, I think 500k is out of reach.

Around 300k would be my guess.

300k? I think that's a little low. 400-500k is pretty much guaranteed as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not confident Europe and NA will embrace it as wholeheartedly as the Japanese have.

To be 300k, it would need to sell no more thab 110k outside Japan..  We already got 20k from the UK alone of Europe.  So you are saying rest of Europe+NA+RoW will be 90k?  While simultaneously being top 5 on amazon and high ranking at Best Buy and Walmart for the entire first week in the US?

I don't know. It's very, very rare for a Wii U game to sell more in Japan than NA. Only a few games have (these include MH3U, Wii Party U and Game & Wario. One of which was bundled heavily, one is Monster Hunter, and the other...I have no fucking clue).

At the very least, let's say it sells about the same in NA as it did in Japan (which would follow your theory of it not being as well embraced, considering the Wii U has sold more in NA than Japan, so the ratio sold would be worse), that would mean it's 190k + 190k, which is 380k, and then we factor in UK's sales which are thought to be around 20-21k based on rankings, so that leaves it at 400k. Then, we have the rest of Europe and ROW, so let's just say 50k for all (which might be undershooting). That leaves it at an absolute minimum of 450k.

And of course, this is me underestimating NA (as I said before, Wii U games historically sell better in NA than Japan, and about on par with Japan in EU, give or take). Also keep in mind that this includes digital, which still technically counts as sold copies.
