Best Worst Game?

E.T. for the 2600 3 4.23%

Superman 64 5 7.04%

Sonic '06 11 15.49%

Ride to Hell: Retribution 5 7.04%

Crazy Bus 2 2.82%

Other 45 63.38%

Total:71

Other M most definitely. You can skip cutscenes after the first time you beat it and despite the gameplay having a few hiccups here and there it's the closest thing to a 3D Super Metroid...so I'll take what I can get.

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter on the ps2. It absolutely destroys most other rpgs in terms of originality, level design, music, battle system, and challenge. However, since it is more complex, challenging, and non-traditional than the previous BoF games, it is hated by many who cannot just learn new mechanisms and instead complain about it. It's a hard game, but once you understand it through perseverance, it becomes a gem, just like the Souls games.

Why is it hated anyway?

Mostly for the on-foot sections. Those represent maybe 50% of the game, and from what I've seen, people despise these.

Ah I see. Well I guess I could kinda see where they're coming from since when I think of Star Fox I think of flying and stuff. But I'm sure it's not a bad game. I might eventually try it if I find it

Skyward Sword.

I'm playing through it for the second time now, and I'm loving it even more than I did in 2011.
I appreciated the masterful dungeons, endearing charm, and tactile controls the first time around, but the watercolour graphics, which disappointed me back in the day, have really grown on me.

4th best game on Wii and 6th best game of last gen in my book.

Haha, yeah, you saved me the trouble, and did a good job too... ^_^ but I want dem points... >:P JK

DotNW was on the Wii, and now on PS3 in a collection. Most people don`t like it I recall, but I forgot about Legendia. I didn`t like that one too, but I think it was the style that bothered me the most about it. I guess it felt too much like the Samurai Champloo anime that I watched before. For some reason it bothered me. Maybe I should give it another chance some day. It may be good overall, aside from the style...

Ohhh is it the sequel to Symphonia? Because if so I own that game! But I havent played it yet since I wanna finish Symphonia first What part of the style is different? I havent played it in a while, the main difference to me was the combat

Hmm, I don`t think it`s so much the style, but things like the main characters and the lack of the previous characters. The main character, Emil, is one of the most hated ones in the franchise, which is understandable, as well as the girl he is tagged up with. People also weren`t happy with main chars from the last game being only temporary, and can`t level up. I did find it enjoyable though, even if the characters were kinda weak and very cliche.

Not really sure if people dislike this, but I really like Rune Factory 4.

It literally plays nothing like Super Metroid, though. It's not even a Metroidvania.

The Samurai/Dynasty Warriors games.

Alot of these games that alot of the people on this thread are calling "hated" games aren't actually"hated" they just aren't as loved because of the series they come from. Zelda and star fox are my examples. Is Skyward Sword hated by most? Or hated by haters because its not what "they think" a Zelda game should be?
same goes for Star Fox Assault.
I think this thread is more about, if you love something like...those freakin 360 Burger King games.
hahaha
