Surprisingly, though this does seem like my type of game I would enjoy, I haven't been able to get into it...

Only played an hour of New Leaf, so I really need to play it more

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

Love it! Just recently hit 200 hours in New Leaf on 3DS xD

Got the game not really knowing what to expect, but it gets you hooked!

Not at all.

Never tried it. Probably never will.

Put it this way: I put my summer internship in jeopardy to get the best deal from the Turnip stock market.

After a couple weeks of market checks on the toilet, I had to demolish my town and sell my fake money in order to keep making real money. I'm ashamed to say how hard it was to make that decision. :/

Perhaps it should stay that way. It`s for your own good...

I was hooked on New Leaf for a while. It's a great complementary game in my opinion. Back when I got it, I would go check on my town every day, do a few chores, find the money rock, etc, before jumping into whatever other 3DS game I was playing. Though sometimes I found myself playing so long there wasn't a need for another game, hehe.

I think it's a great game for creative people. I picked it up again a few months ago out of nostalgia, and it made me laugh to hear my white wolf resident say "Winter is Coming", or find Fire Emblem outfits in my wardrobe, or listen to all my villagers sing the beginning of the Shingeki no Kyojin theme. Good times...

Shake trees, check the dump, dig in the dirt, catch bugs for 10 minutes. Turn off the game and do it the next day. 10 minutes of repetitious gameplay? Nope. There are games that have similar gameplay style to Animal Crossing but offer far more content and better gameplay.

Oh, and don't you dare go to a friends town.  You can if you want to get fruit that sells for more in your town, but as soon as you do, you'll have villagers that move there and some of their villagers will move to your town and the only way to complete the fetch quests is by making an even longer trek back and forth.

Boring monotonous gameplay.

I got new leaf in September and I loved it for about 4 months until school got so busy that I'm afraid to go back to the town and see all the people that probably left :(

Also my inventory is so cluttered, like for the next games I hope you can get more storage somehow.
