Xbox two or 2. (hopefully they use the number instead of the word) Don't expect MS to make any catchy names for Xbox.

I'm saying that there won't be a console. The "next Xbox" will just be a streaming service provided through Xbox Live. They've already started the foundation on PC. It'll be like PS Now, but for Xbox. And PS Now will do the same thing for Playstation. No PS5. Just PS Now, though they'll probably sell a tiny streaming box like the PS TV and call it the PS5 just for the 2-3 people who don't have access to a smart TV in 10 years.

Oh, I kind of like that.

I'm still a fan of Xbox Infinity, Xbox 10, Xbox Iris, Xbox V (as in Vee not 5, but works as 5), Xbox 4k

But I can see something like Xbox Edge (the code name for their new browser.)

And I kind of like Xbox Spartan, but I think it's too military and limiting.

But I am sure there are plenty of other things.  I don't think anyone here guess it would be called Xbox One.

Anyone want to guess on specs.  We had the orginal Xbox which came with an 8 gb hard drive, then the 360 with 20gb, then the Xbox One with 8gb of RAM (equal to the original hard drive.)

So will the next one have like 20+gb of RAM? 

PS I think at this point we are still 4ish or more years away.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Shouldn't you have explained this in your original post? 



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Maybe their following a pattern:

Xbox OG ( 1st console ) is similar to Xbox One ( 3 rd console ). Therefore the next name will be similar to the Xbox 360 name so I'm going with Xbox 720.
