Ohh shoot, F6 might have some competition. I am a big fan of the Underground series, especially the soundtracks.

I'll wait and see where this goes

I did enjoy NfS Rivals, but I just find myself playing fewer driving games these days

That and the constant online social "nonsense" mean I'm not close to jumping up and down about this

So underground is becoming the reboot! I am curious. Understand also why seeing that the underground series are still the best selling in the franchise with each at around 10 million copies

Nocturnal openworld... Interesting. Need for Speed Rivals was quite intense during nighttime races.

I've always like NFS games. Hopefully we see more of this soon.

Ugh, I lost hope for this franchise a long time ago. Aside from the atroicous Need for Speed Pro, they released 5-6 games that were almost exactly the same and the franchise stood still for almost a decade.
Criterion's take is decent but I think I just lost my drive (pun intended) for arcade racers, it seems to be more about flair and style than actual, enjoyable driving.
The last truly great NFS was Hot Pursuit 2 on PS2, GC and Xbox.
